   • Ed Stankiewicz moved to approve the Sept 2008 minutes

• Board Committee Structure is moved to next month

   1. Principal’s Report
   • Evaluations have begun with 3 complete at this time.
   2. Ms. McKinney
      • Discussed Open Court reading.
   3. Financials
      • Connie will present financials next month.
9. 9.Unfinished Business
   1. Public Funds
   • Ed talked John Perry about options. They are currently very busy with audits, but will get back to us soon. One comment made was that schools are undercharged currently and may affect the rollover.
   2. Open House Highlights
      • Two visitors came to the Open House. Turn out was disappointing, but the discussion was good.
      • One good suggestion mentioned was for the Board to have criteria benchmarks to evaluate from year to year on the progress of the Board and for the School.

    1. Staff Meeting (BoD Attend)
    • Oct. 14 or Nov. 4th. 3:45
    2. BoD visits to classrooms
       • The Board is encouraged to visit classrooms before next Board meeting in November.
