We are a Core Knowledge® Preschool for children
ages 4-5.

Jefferson County has changed the required age for Kindergarten to be 5 years by October 1.

Therefore, the preschool will enroll children who will turn 4 years of age by October 1.

However, Lincoln Academy and Lincoln Academy Preschool highly recommend that children who will not turn 4 years of age until after school begins, consider 2 years of preschool or wait an additional year before starting preschool.

All children must be “potty trained” before entering the preschool program.
