A NOTE FROM A PARENT
My car, a 2010 Acura RDX dark brown to dark gray color, was hit in the parking lot at Lincoln Academy on the morning of Tuesday, February 9 during drop off. If anybody saw the person who hit my car or knows who this person is, would you please contact me at 303-431-1371. Thank you.
PARENT SATISFACTION SURVEY
We are extending the deadline for the survey until February 24. Your child can still earn a homework pass if you complete the survey and print out the page for the homework pass. Your feedback is important, especially as we move forward with a new principal next fall. The survey link is www.jeffn.net/lasurvey/
STUDENTS CALLING AND TEXTING PARENTS WHEN SICK
The protocol for sick students at Lincoln Academy is as follows:
- Let an adult know they are not feeling well.
- Have them assessed by the clinic aide.
- Clinic aide or office staff will determine whether or not to call a parent.
- We will always call if they have a fever or have thrown up.
We have had several incidents where the student sends a text or calls mom or dad to have them come pick them up because they are not feeling well. If you get one of these messages from your student, please have the student check in with the clinic aide, Mrs. Nickell before coming to pick them up. Thank you for your help in this matter.
