1. Cut one piece of strong material such as (denim, stretch denim, duck cloth or trigger);
32” long and 22” wide

2. Fold fabric so that one edge is 3” longer than the other

3. Cut into a trapezoid with the following dimensions
Mark the center fold on the fabric

4. Out of remaining fabric or contrasting fabric cut

5. Serge edges and fold over once and then top stitch on all 4 edges. OR Fold twice and top stitch on all 4 edges.

6. Attach C to the B.

7. Attach B to A.

8. Attach A to main piece of fabric on the longer side.

10. Fold the fabric with the pockets attached on the fold line you marked in step 2, right sides together.

11. Sew together at the side seams using .5” seams. Stop sewing 6” from the longer edge. Do not use a serger because we will reinforce the side seams to help prevent ripping of the chair cover later.

12. Press open the side seams and fold over the edges. There should only be .25” fabric showing on each side.

13. Stitch two rows of small stitches on both sides of the seam. Make sure you catch the fabric from the seam. At the bottom sew horizontally about .5” from the end three times. This final stitching helps keep the ends together. Reinforced
