Hello! I am Kimberly Nyquist, your 8th grade English Language Arts teacher - I am honored to be working at Lincoln Academy with our incredible community of families. I am a passionate believer that every child's voice should be fostered and shared, that every student should be supported in their academic growth through instruction that is responsive to their unique and individual needs, and that every child should be looked after in a caring environment. I work each day to bring joyful learning, inquiry, equity and warmth to my classroom community. 

Originally from New York, it was the beautiful Colorado sunshine and mountain adventure that brought my family here to live over fourteen years ago. In addition to teaching, being a mom is my greatest happiness! I also enjoy music, art, cooking, hiking, and camping. My children graduated from Lincoln Academy and I am overjoyed to be a part of this amazing team. I look forward to working closely with the families that make our school so incredible, and to a successful year with my students!
