As we enter Thanksgiving break, the Lincoln Academy Board of Directors would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for the many individuals who make our school such a special place. Here are five things we are especially thankful for: 

  1. Lincoln’s Amazing Staff 
    We are deeply grateful for the dedication and hard work of Lincoln's teaching staff. Their commitment to excellence is evident every day, as they not only teach the CORE curriculum but also incorporate creative and innovative strategies into their classrooms. Board members had the privilege of visiting classrooms and seeing firsthand the incredible work being done. 

  1. Lincoln’s Kind and Hardworking Students 
    Our students continue to impress us with their kindness, resilience, and strong sense of community. We were thrilled to see how well the buddy system is working, fostering meaningful connections and helping students support each other both academically and socially. 

  1. Lincoln’s Leadership Team 
    A special thank you to our leadership team for their unwavering guidance. They have navigated the Charter Renewal application process with the district, ensuring Lincoln’s continued success. Additionally, they’ve worked tirelessly on this year’s Unified Improvement Plan, dedicating many long hours to ensure that every aspect of the school’s development is thoughtfully considered and aligned with state requirements. 

  1. Lincoln’s Operations and Facilities Team 
    We are also incredibly grateful for the efforts of Lincoln's operations and facilities team. Their hard work behind the scenes ensures that our students have a safe, warm, and welcoming environment in which to learn. They’ve already weathered the challenges of our first big snowstorm, ensuring smooth drop-off and pick-up for families, and we are thankful for their dedication in keeping our school running smoothly. 

  1. Lincoln’s PTO 
    Finally, a huge thank you to Lincoln's PTO for their ongoing support in creating a vibrant school community. From organizing Back to School events, Grandparent’s Day, and Fall Fest, to celebrating our veterans, hosting movie nights, and coordinating community nights at local restaurants, the PTO plays a crucial role in fostering connection and spirit among our families. 

We are truly fortunate to have such a dedicated, passionate community here at Lincoln Academy. Thank you for all you do!
