Katie Lehr

President
Serving Since June 2024 | Current Term June 2024-May 2027
Ms. Lehr is the parent of a first and fourth grader here at Lincoln Academy. In May 2024, she was elected as the vice president of the Board of Directors. Her pursuit of office stemmed from her desire to offer additional support to the amazing Lincoln staff, for whom her family is grateful. She also wanted to give back to the school as education and rigorous academics are top priorities in her home. One focus she hopes to pursue this year, among others, is strategic planning for the long-term needs and wants of Lincoln Academy, which may require more significant funding efforts. Prior to election, she was a member of the facilities committee and could be found volunteering in the classroom most weeks as well as supporting various other activities.
Her background includes a BS and MS in engineering as a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines. Before stepping back to spend more time with family, she worked for Lockheed Martin for 14 years specializing in technical projects as well as all aspects of business from strategy to business development to proposals. She and her husband love music, board games, and spending time with their kids.
