Math

Unit 10- Strategies to Subtract 3-digit numbers

Student will:

Mentally subtract 10 or 100 from a 3-digit number
represent and solve 3-digit subtraction equations that require no regroupikng
Decompose one number by place value to count back to subtract 3-digit numbers
count on to subtract
represent and solve 3-digit subtraction equations that require regrouping a ten and a hundred
explain strategies to subtract 3-digits

Unit- Immigration and Citizenship

Students will:

Understand the reasons that people immigrated to the United States
Recognize the Statue of Liberty, understanding that it is a symbol of freedom and was one of the first things immigrants to America saw when they arrived
Understand that Ellis Isting was the first place that immigrants went to after arriving in America
Understnad where immigrants settled in America
Identify Andre Cargegie's accomplishments and contributions
