Writing:
In writing this week, we are continuing our illustration unit. Students will practice using shapes to draw humans with details as well as buildings and other settings, such as parks. We continue to practice using our “A-Ok” grip when holding our pencils.
Math:
In math this week, we are learning different ways to count and represent numbers from 0 to 5.
Core Knowledge:
In Core Knowledge this week, we are learning about the season of fall and about Stories of Three: The 3 Little Pigs, The 3 Billy Goats Gruff and Goldilocks and the 3 Bears.
Social-Emotional Learning:
In Second Step, our first unit is on growth mindset and goal-setting. This week, students will be able to identify why we pay attention: to stay safe and to learn.
