Welcome to 5th grade at Lincoln Academy!  Let me introduce myself. I will be entering my seventh year working at Lincoln Academy.  I have taught 5th grade at Lincoln since 2014.  In addition to my teaching licensure, I hold a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in both Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and a Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction.  Prior to working at Lincoln, I taught both children and adults in various disciplines.  My husband and I have three sons who are 15, 19 and 22, two dogs, and one cat.  I have a true commitment and passion for the quality of education here at Lincoln.  I am looking forward to beginning this school year!

Welcome to Lincoln Academy! Let me introduce myself. My name is Erin Schettone, and this will be my 7th year teaching, but my first year teaching 6th grade. I received my teacher certification from California University of Pennsylvania in 2012 and then moved to Colorado shortly afterwards. My family loves everything about this state and takes advantage of its beauty as much as we can. My husband and I have one beautiful daughter and two furry children as well. In our free time, we enjoy hiking the foothills as a family and traveling to our home away from home in Marco Island, Florida. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and helping them achieve their dreams through a quality education. I strive to empower students and help them realize their potential so they can make a positive contribution to our school, community, and world.

I am so excited to be a part of the new 5th-6th grade Step In to Middle School program at Lincoln Academy!  This will be my 10th year teaching, and my 3rd year at Lincoln.  I was born and raised in Kentucky, then attended college in Tennessee where I received a Master of Arts in Holistic Education at Johnson University.  After college, I moved to Colorado, and I hope I never leave!  I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, and just being outdoors.   When the weather doesn't cooperate, I can be found reading or watching sports.  It is my mission for every student to leave my classroom knowing that they are unique, valuable, and loved.  I am so excited to begin another school year!
