- blend, spell, and read words that contain /ē/ spelled e, e_e, ee, ea, _y, _ie_, and _ey.
- segment individual sounds in words.
- blend single-syllable and two-syllable words.
- build fluency by reading decodables.
Writing
- Students will be writing a paragraph about the qualities of a real prince or princess.
Math:
Students will be:
- adding two-digit numbers without regrouping using dimes and pennies

Core Knowledge: American Revolution 2
- Students will identify Deborah Sampson and Phyllis Wheatley.
- Students will define a patriot.
- Students will identify the contributions of Washington and events that led to the end of the Revolution.
- Identify Washington DC as our capital and why it is called DC. Name our current President and discuss facts about the White House.

- Identify the liberty bell as a symbol of freedom
- identify the contributions of Betsy Ross and the creation of the American Flag.
