    English: Read and annotate Ch. 14 Secret Garden

    Science: Test Review

    STEM: Using the supplies provided, teams must design and build a flying machine. Using their knowledge of the Laws of Motion and 4 Forces of Flight, students must create an innovative machine that applies those laws and forces. 

    Math: In class activity, no homework

    English: "What's that Word?" (equi, iden, hom)    - finish typing PEEL

    Social Studies: “The Fall of the Roman Empire” Discovery Education Video (in lieu of ch. 16)

     Plan for Assessment Paragraph:  Students will choose 1 idea (such as government, philosophy, literature, architecture, language, etc.) and describe how Greece and/or Rome influenced that idea.  Students will use organizers to brainstorm and plan for their paragraph.

    Social Studies: Explorer Speeches

    Students will present the speeches they have prepared about their explorer.

    Science: Foss Online Activities

    STEM: Students will think about how they communicate with other people using the internet. Students will consider how privacy is currently important in their lives to connect the idea of privacy to online communication with their peers.

    English: Read and annotate Ch. 16-17 Secret Garden

    Science: Test on Solutions/Concentration (open note)

    STEM: Using the supplies provided, teams must design and build a flying machine. Using their knowledge of the Laws of Motion and 4 Forces of Flight, students must create an innovative machine that applies those laws and forces. 

    Math: In class activity, no homework

    English: Weekly Practice 

         - Peer Revision, make corrections on your Google Doc 

     Social Studies: Greece/Rome Assessment Paragraphs (typed in google classroom) Students will choose 1 idea (such as government, philosophy, literature, architecture, language, etc.) and describe how Greece and/or Rome influenced that idea.
