Hello, my name is Elizabeth Meyer-Chapman, and I am the Special Education Teacher on the Lincoln Academy Middle School Team for grades 6th, 7th, and 8th.  This will be my fifth year at Lincoln Academy. I am a Colorado Native and graduated from Ranum High School in Denver, Colorado, and I am a Colorado State University Alum. Teaching is a second career for me. This will be my 16th year teaching. I believe every student has untapped potential and I look forward to helping students reach their potential.  My husband Peter and I have a daughter, Natalie, who is Junior at Montana Western University.  My creative outlets include quilting, knitting, and cooking. I also enjoy the outdoors while gardening, biking, walking, and camping.

Hi! I am one of the special education teachers here at Lincoln Academy and I work with 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. This will be my fifth year at Lincoln and I’m thrilled to work in such an inclusive school community!

I was born and raised in Rhode Island but have lived in Colorado for almost 15 years. I received my Bachelor’s degree in both Elementary (K-6) and Special Education (Generalist 6-21) from the University of Hartford in CT. I also have a Master’s Degree from the University of Colorado-Denver in Special Education with an added certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders. This will be my 15th year teaching.

I am married to my husband, Chris, and have two boys, Jacob and CJ- both who also attend Lincoln. I also have a really big dog named Chief and a new boxer puppy named Ruby. I enjoy playing outside with my family, reading, and going to the beach.
