Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

Dr. King was a leader in the historical civil rights movements and strongly believed in serving others. As we approach Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on January 18th, we would like to embrace the MLK Day of Service as a community. In this unique COVID-19 season, the ways we can serve looks a little different but are needed now more than ever. This year, as an act of serving others, Lincoln Academy will be collecting donations for those impacted by the Marshall fires. Beginning Monday, January 18- Friday, February 4 our donation bin will be available to drop donations off during school hours. Let's show our community that we care.

What we need:

  • Kitchen towels
  • Cooking utensils
  • Cookware
  • Cups
  • Plates
  • Bowls
  • Small Appliances
  • Flatware (no sharp knives)
  • Oven mits/hot pads

Additionally, we will also be taking donations of kid friendly board games! These can be dropped off in the same location. We hope we can rally around those in need around us in this season.
